Sky accrues 85.9% Amstrad holding

BSkyB says that it has received acceptances for 71.57 million shares in Amstrad representing 85.9% of the set-top box manufacturer. The offer, made through its Sky Digital Supplies, has now been extended to September 4.
The £125 million (€172m) offer was originally tabled on July 31.
