Zonemedia has appointed Monica Chard as the thematic channel operator’s global advertising sales director. The Chellomedia company is looking to develop advertising packages that appeal to international advertisers, tying in with the brand strategy of channels including Zone Reality, Zone Club, Zone Horror, Zone Romantica and the Extreme Sports Channel.
Chard has spent a recent period of consultancy with Zonemedia and has already signed a partnership with Rimmel in Hungary to sponsor the Makeup Makeover programme. On air promotions will commence in September and the sponsorship will include promotion on the Zone Club website and magazine tie-ins.
Chard was previously VP international advertising sales for Discovery Channel, where clients included Johnnie Walker, HP and Toyota.
