Sky News is joining the Jalipo online marketplace. The 24-hour news channel is being made available in three different quality streams.
Sky News head John Ryley said that it was appropriate for the channel to appear on Jalipo given its continued innovation. “Sky News’ ambition is to make breaking news available through as many routes as possible, recognising the changing habits of consumers everywhere. This trial will allow us to understand how we can deliver that across Europe, alongside our strong television audience.”
Viewers to Jalipo purchase so-called J Credits that allow them to watch as much or as little of the channels they are presented with. Already Euronews, Al Jazeera English, Bloomberg, Deutsche Welle, France 24 and Phoenix CNE are available under Jalipo’s news section.
