Data produced by the Russian Association of Communication Agencies (RACA) indicates that the country’s ad market was worth between $1.80 –1.83 billion (€1.30-1.33 billion) in Q1 2007, or 33% more than in the corresponding period in 2006. TV remained the most popular medium, accounting for just under 50% of the total. Perhaps not surprisingly, the greatest growth was seen in the Internet sector, which was worth between $30-35 million in Q1 2007, or 65% more than 12 months earlier.
