Dutch telecoms incumbent KPN has taken a share in the Dutch online video portal PCzapper.tv, the company announced today. The portal offers a guide and access to online video contnet, both on-demand and streaming. PCzapper also offers white label solutions for other providers and has been supplying a video portal to KPN’s Planet TV service for some time.
At the moment the PCzapper portal lists over 450,000 online video services including such streaming sites as “Uitzending Gemist” from the Dutch public broadcasters, “RTL Gemist”, the catch-up service from the Dutch RTL, the best of YouTube and hundreds of streaming channels. The PCzapper service is free to users.
The content portal is compiled by a small editorial team with the help of content spiders and contributions from the PCzapper community.
