Sysmedia appoints new sales head

Sysmedia has appointed Andrew Pons as head of sales and marketing. Pons will be responsible for continuing the company’s growth across international markets. The company manufactures systems for subtitling, teletext, digital text services and interactive TV.
Pons has 11 years experience in international sales in the European and US markets. Most recently he was with The Electronic Farm, where he established the company’s sales and support operation, and spent a period working in Spain. Prior to this he was EMEA sales manager at broadcast playout specialist Encoda systems.
