Multichoice subscribers have been able to enjoy The Disney Channel 24-hours-a-day since March 1. Disney launched a 16-hour schedule to 1.3 million DStv subscribers across South and sub-Saharan Africa on September 25, 2006 and quickly established itself as the number one children’s channel in pay-TV homes. The audience is double that of its nearest competitor.
The channel features a familiar mix of Disney shows including That’s So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Hannah Montana, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Disney’s Little Einsteins. (JC)
